Individual Truss Station

SBCRI’s Individual Truss Station is a traditional 2D testing station that can accommodate components up to 50’ long x 12’ high. This station is frequently used in concert with full-scale in-situ testing to establish a baseline performance of each truss before it is measure as part of an assembly.

Testing can be done on this station under the following standards:

  • ASTM C203 – Standard Test Method for Breaking Load and Flexural Properties of Block Type Thermal Insulation
  • ASTM C293/C293 M – Standard Test Method for Flexural Strength of Concrete (Using Simple Beam with Center Point Loading)
  • ASTM C1609/1609 M – Standard Test Method for Flexural Performance of Fiber-Reinforced Concrete (Using Beam with Third Point Loading)
  • TPI 2 – Standard for Testing Metal-Plate-Connected Wood Trusses
